Studio or beach

We can shoot in a studio, at the beach, or plan a session that brings both together. In the studio, we can concentrate on portraits, expression and shape. At the beach, there’s room for movement, swimwear and a different feeling as the light changes.

Byron Bay portfolios start from $1,500 AUD. The full package details set out the studio, beach and combined sessions, including the time and finished images.

Consider driving to Brisbane and shooting with me there. The Portfolio Starter in Brisbane is $900 AUD and takes place in the studio—a good option for building your first book.

At the beach

From quiet portraits to full-length movement, we work with the setting and the light. Natural light and flash can give the same location very different moods.

Building your portfolio

We’ll look at your current photographs, where you want to take your book and any agency brief. I’ll help you plan what to bring, then guide expression and movement throughout the shoot. You don’t need experience in front of the camera to begin.

If you’re already represented, we can plan a focused update around what your agency needs. Afterwards, I’ll help you choose photographs that work together.

Planning your Byron Bay shoot

I’m based in Brisbane, but Byron Bay still feels like part of home. I lived there for many years and know the area well. There’s no additional travel fee for a Byron Bay shoot.

We’ll confirm the studio or beach location and timing when we plan your session. For outdoor shoots, we’ll talk through the light, weather and the photographs you’re drawn to. If you’re travelling in, let me know your dates before booking transport.
