Model Portfolios & Test Rates

Model Portfolio Shoots use a professional team-approach to fill commercial gaps in your book and give clients ideas on how you might look/perform in campaigns, look-books and editorials. Model Test Shoots show clients how you look/perform as a blank canvas with not much more than lip gloss, mascara & brushed eyebrows. Both are effective for building your book and getting you work.

PLEASE NOTE:
The model portfolio and test shoot rates are for non-commercial shoots only. Please email contact@daveblake.com.au to request an estimate for campaigns, look-books, PR, social content and/or any shoot requiring commercial image licensing.
Portfolio shoots receive a 2-3 hr photo session, choice of studio or location, up to 4 looks, mood-board consultation, wardrobe guidance (or professional stylist if selected), and professional fashion / commercial retouching. Model tests are less involved, with the final product being simple, timeless raw-style images with minimal editing (other than adding contrast and removing distracting blemishes).
After each shoot, the untouched photos (proofs) will be delivered online within 48 hours for the model to review and select for retouching. The final retouched images may take up to 10 business days to be completed and delivered via Dropbox.
Portfolio retouching goes to a professional retoucher includes colour correction, blemish removal, skin tone correction, hair & body reshaping where appropriate. Heavily graded Advertising style retouching for your folio can be arranged at a rate of $100 per image.
The rates listed above are subject to change over time and effective March 2018. All deposits are non-refundable with deposit to be paid via the Model Test Shoot Booking page. The remaining balance must be paid upon arrival to the shoot. Models under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present at all times.
