Photographer & Director
My journey into photography began in remote Australia. I didn’t wear shoes until I was twelve, and had an accent to match.
I’m drawn to raw, unfiltered beauty. More than 10 years in photography across Australia, New York, and Paris has shaped how I work: authentic, spontaneous, and deeply personal across editorial, commercial, and model-development environments.
Artist statement
My eye leans natural: less polish, more honesty.
I’m interested in where grit meets grace: urban texture, food, culture, and people, creating images that feel both timeless and contemporary. Always a celebration of the individual, even within a couple.
Often the strongest images happen in the in-between moments.
Context
I’m based in Teneriffe, Brisbane, working primarily across Brisbane, Byron Bay, and Sydney, with selected projects nationally and internationally when creative alignment is strong.
Before photography, I spent a hazy decade as a computer programmer and sold my dream car to make the leap. Outside Australia, I’ve lived in London, Vancouver, and New York, and travelled to every continent except Antarctica.
A period of serious illness later in life brought me back to Australia and reshaped my pace, purpose, and attention. Alongside photography, I’m completing a Bachelor of Health Science (BHSc) with a long-term focus on helping others heal. Outside work, I love cooking and living an organic, grounded life; that rhythm keeps my process calm, present, and connected.
